Minocycline

Minocycline is a member of the tetracycline antibiotic family.  It is marketed under several trade names, including Minomycin® and Dynacin®.  Minocycline formulations are the largest selling tetracycline world-wide, with global sales in excess of US $400 million.  Minocycline is used to treat bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, infections of skin, genital and urinary systems.  HalcyGen has the global rights to a patent protected minocycline re-formulation.  HalcyGen propose to develop this re-formulation through clinical trials.
